How It Works:

I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults, and couples therapy. Currently offering in-person sessions and online services through a confidential platform.

Typically, I meet with clients for 50 minutes, once per week. Some people prefer to see me every other week. Once we’ve decided to work together, we can determine what best fits your needs and schedule.

In our work together, I believe you are the expert of yourself. My favorite part is working with you to create change while being your authentic self. The healing begins with you and I am honored to join you in your process.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based approach to treating trauma and PTSD, as well as a wide range of other mental health issues. In EMDR, clients perform specific eye movements, guided by a credentialed EMDR therapist, while focusing on traumatic and/or emotionally charged memories.

If you’re not familiar with EMDR, this video explains it:

I understand that EMDR is not for everyone because of that, I use a variety of techniques in my work with clients. Ultimately, I use strength based and trauma-informed perspective.

Adolescent Therapy

In my work with adolescents, I find that when their privacy is respected they remain open and engaged in therapy. In our first session I meet with the legal guardian and adolescent to discuss all the legal aspects of therapy. Moving forward I meet with just the adolescent with limited content to the legal guardian to maintain strong rapport with the client.

Adult & Couples Therapy

While working with individual adults, I create space to support you through your healing process. Often life moments have lead to addictions, relational strain, life transitions, anxiety, stress, or depression.

Working with couples, I noticed often they are concerned the therapist with not hold a neutral stance. I want to encourage that I come alongside you as a couple unit to secure your attachment. Developing stronger communication skills, conflict resolution, trust and safety, intimacy,  financial stressors, and anything you may experiencing in your relationship.
